WINE: SINNER 2016: (93-100)
Grape varieties- Alicante Bouschet and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Terroir
The wine is only produced with grapes coming from Viana do Alentejo, where the first Adega
Social was created in Portugal in 1895.
Harvest
Wine obtained from completely destemmed grapes and partially crushed to then be led to fermentation tanks of stainless steel, with capacity for 13 tons, where they ferment at a controlled temperature with help from selected yeasts
from the complete tanning method (full contact between the grape must and skins) with timed reassembles so there is a greater extraction of all compounds present in the skin.
After the alcoholic fermentation is finished there is the malolactic fermentation through action of indigenous lactic bacteria, and after there is a quick aging in stainless steel tanks until bottling.
Maturing
It’s a wine to age and mature by our side, rejoicing our life with verve and enjoying of what will always be a great wine.
Tasting
Colour: When in the glass, it is dense and oleaginous.
Nose: Has an intense and aromatic bouquet, with hints of matured and macerated fruit and of dry plum.
Palate: Has an intense and robust palate which completes us with satisfaction. It’s supplemented with round tannins, and a long-lasting, lingering and velvety ending.. According to Julien Miquel, the wine can be kept from 10 to 20 years.
