Alti Wine Club Recommendation: SINLESS 2017 from Viana do Alentejo. A young red wine, full bodied, of a well built and elegant character. Yes, it is young, however mature.

Grape varieties
Aragonês, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet, Alfrocheiro and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Terroir
The wine is only produced with grapes coming from Viana do Alentejo, rolled pebble terroir where the first Adega Social was created in Portugal in 1895.
Harvest
Wine obtained from completely destemmed grapes and partially crushed to then be led to fermentation tanks of stainless steel, with capacity for 13 tons, where they ferment at a controlled temperature with help from selected yeasts
from the complete tanning method (full contact between the grape must and skins) with timed reassembles so there is a greater extraction of all compounds present in the skin.
After the alcoholic fermentation is finished there is the malolactic fermentation through action of indigenous lactic bacteria, and after there is a quick aging in stainless steel tanks until bottling.
Maturing
A young red wine, full bodied, of a well built and elegant character. Yes, it is young, however mature.
Tasting
Colour: When in the glass, it reveals a bright rich and consistent Violet colour.
Nose: With an aromatic bouquet, with hints of matured fruits and red berries, scented by the sun recalling fresh jam.
Palate: Its palate is fruity and dry, with soft tannins, a well-balanced acidity and a light body which gives it a soft ending. It’s a wine to let rest in the bottle, or simply follow its evolution through time….and enjoy its growth. According to Julien Miquel, the wine can be kept from 10 to 20 years.
